Sandra Albers
About the Artist
Sandra, originally from Brazil, is a multidisciplinary artist and former volleyball player who has lived in the USA for nearly a decade. She studied classical European portraiture at the Art Students League in New York and began painting as a creative outlet during her career in banking technology.
Her artistic practice has since expanded to include sculpture, with studies at UWLAX, and photography, currently pursued through a Digital Photography class at Cornell University. A passionate advocate for gender equality, Sandra founded the RedLips WIAS Project (Women In Arts + Sports) to support and promote women artists and athletes. Through her work, she seeks to inspire creativity and empowerment.
