THE PEOPLE WE MEET
Studies in Portraiture: The People We Meet
A collaborative exhibition exploring portraiture through live sessions, independent studies, and shared creative experiences. Through painting, drawing, and photography, the works celebrate the connection between artist and sitter, revealing the stories, identities, and humanity found in the people we meet.

Photography - Models have agreed to being photographed through the form (when there is no nudity). If you’d like, you’re also welcome to leave a tip for the model.
Pose & Etiquette
One long pose 3hrs with breaks
No nudity (if minors attend)
Keep voices low during posing to support focus
Materials & Policies:
Bring your own easel and art materials - IF YOU NEED TABLE/CHAIR PLEASE LET US KNOW ON THE RSVP COMMENTS.
Bring a small plastic bag for your trash
Rivoli Art Building (RAB) spaces do not allow toxic or strong-odor solvents
Instruction is not offered, and we kindly ask that conversation be kept low during sessions.
Snacks: Feel free to bring snacks to enjoy or share.

Primary: Rivoli Art Building (RAB) - Address: 123 4th St N La Crosse, WI 54601 | 3rd floor - May use additional RAB spaces as needed
Secondary: Gallery 1311 - Address: 1311 Market St, La Crosse, WI 54601
Parking: street parking is available for up to 2 hours. After that, please move your car or use a nearby parking lot. We recommend using a paid parking garage so you can fully enjoy the painting session.
RSVP: RSVP is appreciated so we can plan for space and the model. This is a small group event - Limited spaces!
