Image Use Authorization & Release

This Image Use Authorization & Release ("Agreement") explains how images created during a photoshoot may be used and outlines the rights of all parties involved.

By consenting this form, you grant permission for the use of your image under the terms described below.

Grant of Permission

I hereby grant permission to Sandra Scanoni Albers ("Photographer"), Artesã Gallery, and authorized partner photographers and media companies involved in the photoshoot (collectively, the "Authorized Parties") to use my image, likeness, and/or voice as captured in photographs, video, or other media (the "Images").

This authorization applies to all content created during the photoshoot and any related projects. The Images will be used primarily as visual reference material for artists, including drawing and painting studies, life-painting sessions, and related artistic projects.

1. Authorized Uses

I understand and agree that the Images may be used for the following purposes:

  • Artistic, editorial, promotional, documentary, portfolio, and commercial purposes related to the project, including use of the Images as reference material for artists’ drawings and paintings

  • Use as visual reference for artists working in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other fine art practices

  • Marketing, advertising, publications, press features, and paid media

  • Display in exhibitions, installations, online galleries, and other artistic presentations

  • Use on websites and social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and official websites

  • Inclusion in online and print portfolios for the Photographer, Artesã Gallery, and authorized partner photographers/media companies

  • Educational, grant, or institutional submissions

The Images are intended to support artistic study and creative interpretation. Final artworks created using the Images as reference may vary in style, medium, and level of abstraction. Images will not be used in a misleading, defamatory, or disrespectful manner, nor will they imply endorsement beyond the scope of the project.

2. Rights & Compensation

I acknowledge and agree that:

  • I will not receive monetary compensation, royalties, or financial benefits for the use of the Images

  • The Photographer retains full copyright and ownership of all Images

  • The Images may be edited, cropped, retouched, or combined with other media at the discretion of the Photographer or Authorized Parties, provided the Images are not used in a misleading or defamatory manner

  • The Photographer may share the Images with athletes, coaches, models, and Authorized Parties for portfolio, promotional, and project-related commercial use

  • Athletes, coaches, and models may use the Images for personal promotion and portfolios, provided the Images are not altered, licensed, or resold for commercial resale

  • Requests for removal of Images from social media or online platforms may be submitted and will be considered in good faith, but removal cannot be legally guaranteed

3. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Sandra Scanoni Albers, Artesã Gallery, and all Authorized Parties from any claims, demands, or liability arising from the authorized use of the Images, including but not limited to claims related to privacy, publicity rights, defamation, or image alteration, provided such use complies with this Agreement.

4. Duration

This authorization is granted in perpetuity, unless revoked in writing.

Revocation does not apply to Images already published, distributed, licensed, or otherwise used prior to receipt of written notice.

5. Consent for Minors (Under 18 Years of Age)

If the individual photographed is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the section below
